This is a Cadet compiled resources site intended to help prepare Army ROTC Cadets in branching Cyber, a highly selective and competitive branch with limited slots. I made this as I had wished I had something that pointed me in the direction towards becoming competitive for Army Cyber. While it can be argued, and it certainly is true, that you would need minimum Cyber exposure to branch Army Cyber as the Army will certainly teach you all topics related to your job, it is also true that showing initiative and intereest through learning for the Branch of your choice (especially a live interview based branch) will certainly be benefecial in the long run. I myself have not branched Cyber yet and thus this is called a project, for myself and those interested in branching into Cyber Command.
Do not take this as a source of truth but a resource in your own research into branching Cyber.

Project Cyber Cadet is a resource guide for U.S Army ROTC Cadets interested in branching into Cyber Command. All resources gathered here are sourced from official Army publications and releases, reddit/forum posts, and interviews with Cyber Officers. It serves to do the following things:
- Help Cadets / Prospective Cadets understand U.S Army ROTC in relation to branching
- Help Cadets understand OML, Accessions, and Interviews
- Explain U.S Army Cyber Command’s mission
- Explain the role(s) of U.S Army Cyber Officers in relation to USACC’s mission
- Provide pathway for Cadets interested in becoming competitive for Cyber
- Provide resources paid and free (readings, projects, practices, etc) for self-development
- Foster Cadet readiness
It’s a lot of reading so I will try my best to throw humor wherever I can while keeping it to the point. At the end of the day, I hope this can be a resource to you as much as it is to me. Thank you for visiting and good luck!
